Terms and Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of its terms and conditions.
  2. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents who are over the age of 18 and adhere to the Cook Islands entry requirements.
  3. How to Enter: Entry into the ‘Hook, Line & Island Time’ promotion requires a person to complete the promotional entry form.
  4. Extra entries: You have the option referring a friend by using the referral function on the competition page, when the friends that you have referred enter the competition, you will receive an extra entry into the draw. You will receive an extra entry for every friend referred.
  5. Entrants must remain subscribed to the Marine Deals newsletter for the duration of the competition to be eligible for the draw.
  6. The winner will arrange the dates of travel with Cook Islands Tourism.
  7. Travel is valid 01 November 2026 to 31 March 2027 or 01 November 2027 to 31 March 2028.
  8. If the prize winner is unable to redeem the prize before 31 March 2028 the prize will be forfeited.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries.
  10. Marine Deals Limited and Cook Islands Tourism reserves the right to use the winner’s name and photo for promotional purposes.
  11. Employees of Marine Deals Limited and their immediate families and other companies associated with the promotion, are ineligible to enter the draw.
  12. All draw entry details incorrectly entered shall be deemed invalid.
  13. Proof of identity, age and residence may be requested at Marine Deals' discretion to validate a winning entry.
  14. Promotion commences 2nd of June 2026 and closes at 11.59 pm 28th of June 2026 (the “Promotional Period”). Entries received after this closing time will be ineligible for entry.
  15. One winner will be randomly drawn from one prize pool on the 1st of July 2026 and will be announced via the competition page and the Marine Deals Facebook page. If the Promoter, having used reasonable efforts, is unable to contact the winner then the prize is forfeited and a further draw(s) will be conducted. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. Participation in the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  17. The first valid entry drawn will win the following prize:
    1. Return flights for two to Rarotonga from Auckland
    2. Return domestic flights to Auckland
    3. 5 nights in an Oceanview Room at Club Raro Resort for up to two adults
    4. Daily tropical breakfasts at Club Raro Resort for two adults
    5. Half Day Fishing Charter with Raro Fishing Charters for two adults only *subject to weather conditions
    6. $2000 worth of gear from Shimano
  18. All other expenses relating to the trip are the responsibility of the prize-winner.
  19. Club Raro Resort cancellation policy applies to all bookings.
  20. Once booked, no changes can be made.
  21. The prize cannot be converted into cash, but the prize is transferable to another person who is a New Zealand resident upon consultation with the Promoter.
  22. This prize cannot be combined with any live specials and tactical campaigns in the marketplace and cannot be booked via any travel professional or travel wholesaler.
  23. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with a substitute prize of equal or greater value.
  24. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this promotion.
  25. Neither the Promoter, nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.
  26. Entrants can opt-in to receive news from Cook Islands Tourism by clicking the opt-in button on the entry form.
  27. By entering into this promotion you expressly consent to receiving promotional offers and other information from Marine Deals. Such promotional offers will be sent to the email addresses, via WhatsApp, SMS or to the delivery address that you have provided in completing the promotion entry form.
  28. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for the Promoter to use the winner's details and photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant.
